Calendar

The competition has four rounds:

• Preliminary Round, with piano accompaniment – Friday 23rd October 2020.

• Quarter-final, with piano accompaniment – Saturday 24th October 2020.

• Semi-final, with Aalborg Symphony Orchestra – Wednesday 28th October 2020.

• Gala-final, with Aalborg Symphony Orchestra – Saturday 31st October 2020.

Number of participants:

• 16 participants will be selected for the preliminary round
• 12 participants will go through to the quarter-final
• 8 participants will go through to semi-final
• 4 participants will go through to the Gala-final

ALL FOUR ROUNDS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

There is free access to the preliminary round, quarter-final and following rehearsals with singers and orchestra.

Orchestra rehearsal with two finalists from 11am to 3pm

Friday, 30th October 2020

Orchestra rehearsal with two finalists from 10am to 1pm

All orchestral rehearsals take place in the concert hall of Musikkens Hus.

Preliminary round begin at 11 am and take place in Intimsalen, Musikkens Hus.

Quarter-final begin at 11 am and take place in Koncertsalen, Musikkens Hus.

At the semi-final and Gala-final admission to the public is by ticket only
